We are looking for B2B Business Developer to join our international Sales team and put Smappee on the map in the following regions: Benelux/France, DACH, Nordics and Australia.

International Business Developer - Energy (B2B)

- You sell all Smappee's innovative products and services to commercial clients that sell energy efficiency products and services to consumers and businesses.
- You search for these ESCOs in your dedicated region and establish partnerships.
- You work together with top decision-makers towards a solution where Smappee fits into their services.
- You actively prospect for new opportunities and innovations where Smappee can be of added value.
- You set up long-term partnerships. You can count on the support of Internal Sales.
- You are responsible for the commercial results of your region and report to the Sales Director.
- You attend important local and international events and trade shows.


- You have at least 5 years of experience in a Sales positions and at least 5 years of experience in the energy monitoring industry.
- You have a bachelors or masters degree or are equal in experience.
- You’re a tech enthusiast and you quickly understand new technologies.
- You use your knowledge about the latest innovations and regulations in the energy field to find creative solutions and see future opportunities.
- You prefer to work in a flexible sales environment.
- You have strong communication skills and are able to clearly present innovative technologies.
- Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English is necessary. Knowledge of other languages is a plus.
