Quality Assurance Manager

The emphasis of a Quality Assurance Manager is on the prevention of defects of the products and to ensure consistent quality towards the market and customers. You are responsible for meeting quality objectives, reporting KPI’s and assuring continuous improvements throughout the processes.

A look into your week as a Quality Assurance Manager:

  • Your job starts the other way around: you begin your procedure by viewing the tickets and customer complaints about the products. You report on any critical issues and bring together all stakeholders to discuss a possible path forward.
  • You perform internal and external audits in order to assess the issue.
  • You are therefore responsible to take actions, to do the follow up and the closing of any non-conformances raised during audits.
  • You analyze our current process performance data and according to quality performance, you create new processes for our products.
  • In dialogue with your colleagues, you create a lasting and efficient solution for the issue. Your follow-up that the agreed solution is implemented as discussed.
  • The operations processes must be well documented to prevent these problems in the future.
  • You’re keeping an eye on the field for new ideas and improvements.
  • Throughout the process, a good and constant collaboration with the team is necessary.
  • You develop quality control policies and standards for the company to follow and implement existing processes and policies (e.g. ISO).

Is this you?

  • Because of the importance and final responsibilities of the job, experience in a production context is a must.
  • You hold a (Bachelor’s or?) Master’s degree in Business Engineering or in a technical domain.
  • Because of the production context, a Black Belt in Continuous Improvement and Lean management can help, but is not necessary.
  • You have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role in service, quality or serviceability departments.
  • You fiercely defend quality and market perception, and as such strive for a great customer and product experience.
  • You have good communication skills and an excellent entrepreneurial spirit.
  • An eye for documentation and administration.
  • You take matters into your own hands and thinks solution-oriented.
  • You ‘fit’ perfectly in an international atmosphere.
  • You also have a ‘green heart’ and are inspired by renewable energy.
  • You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and English.
