At just 12 years old, Stefan Grosjean’s curiosity about energy was already taking shape. He sketched his own vision of “the engine of the future”, driven by a simple question: could energy be used differently?
That curiosity never disappeared. It became a lifelong drive to understand, rethink and improve the way we generate and use energy. A drive that ultimately led him to found Smappee and continues to shape his vision today.
And decades later, he is still driven by the same question: how can we use energy more intelligently?
