Yes. The EV Line offers you several options. A user of the charging station can then start a charging session in the following ways.:
- Plug and charge
Plug in a car and start charging immediately, without identification or payment. - Scan and charge (QR code)
Scan the QR code to start charging and pay for the charging session via the Smappee App. The QR code stickers are included in the packaging box of your Smappee charging station. - Swipe and charge (RFID)
Start charging by swiping an RFID token. Depending on the configuration of the charging station and the token, there are several ways to initiate the session.- Whitelisting
Assign RFID tokens from different users to the whitelist of your charging station or charging hub. Only these users can start a charging session. All sessions are logged and can be monitored per user in the Smappee Dashboard. - Split billing
Through a split-billing agreement with Smappee Services, an employer can manage RFID charge cards and the associated flat fee for all its employees. The fee per kWh is automatically paid to the employee each month. This service is easily monitored through the Smappee Dashboard for full visibility and control. - Public charging (CPO)
A Smappee charging station can be set public using Smappee Services or by connecting it to an external platform via OCPP. As the owner of your charging station, you decide what rate to charge when someone comes to charge at your station. This service is easily monitored through the Smappee Dashboard for full visibility and control Once the service is set up, anyone with a public charge card can start a charging session at your charger.

Choose Smappee Services for a simple and convenient all-in-one payment solution. In addition to the split billing and CPO services, you can also use Smappee’s e-MSP services. This service allows you to charge your vehicle at a public charging station using a Smappee Charge Card. The Smart Charge Card is included in the packaging box of your Smappee charging station.
