Is your meter not compatible with Smappee Gas & Water? No worries, you can still monitor you gas and water usage with the Smappee Input module from the Infinity ecosystem. Contact your installer to find out more.

Water meters with a magnetic output.

This type of water meter has a small opening on the side and uses 2 pulses per Liter (or 1 per ½ Liter).

This meter can be monitored with a magnetic sensor.

Meters with reflecting digits.

This type of meter has a reflecting surface on one of the digit. This dot can typically be found on the digit 6, 9 or 0.

This meter can be monitored with an optical sensor.  

Meters with a revolving reflective surface.

This type of meter has a reflecting surface that is attached to a rotating element.

This meter can be monitored with an optical sensor. We advise placing the sensor a bit more off center for a good result.

Meters with revolving dials.

This type of meter has revolving dials. These dials come in all shapes and sizes.

This meter can be monitored with an optical sensor. We advise placing the optical sensor above the fastest spinning dial.

Smappee Gas & Water is not compatible with:

• Meters with red revolving dials
• Gas meter with magnetic output
• Digital meters
